Product Manager - Web3/DAO

As the Product Manager for our Web3 DAO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and development of our decentralized platform and products. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our community, coordinating with various teams within the DAO, and defining the product strategy that aligns with our mission and goals. Your expertise in blockchain technology, decentralized applications (DApps), and user-centered design will be essential in delivering an unparalleled experience to our growing user base.

The successful candidate will be part of a pioneering project in the field of DAO-led L2 networks, with a focus on showcasing the potential of tokenized governance and fostering a more collaborative decentralized economy. The vision is to revolutionize the blockchain industry by providing scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for decentralized applications

As a Product Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with the DAO's overarching mission and long-term objectives. Identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and innovation within the Web3 ecosystem.
• Community Engagement: Work closely with the DAO's community members, understanding their feedback, pain points, and suggestions to prioritize and incorporate user needs into the product roadmap.
• Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a well-defined and detailed product roadmap, setting achievable milestones and ensuring timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives and foster a culture of cooperation.
• Decentralized Governance: Implement decentralized governance mechanisms within the products, enabling community members to actively participate in decision-making processes.
• Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the blockchain and Web3 space, conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify potential areas of improvement and innovation.
• Product Development: Guide the product development process, overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of new features and products.
• Metrics and Performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, regularly analyze performance data, and use insights to optimize and iterate on product features.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that all product initiatives adhere to the necessary regulatory and security standards, promoting a secure and reliable user experience.

As a Product Manager you should bring:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the blockchain or decentralized technology space, with a track record of successful product launches and management.
• Web3 Knowledge: Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized applications (DApps). Familiarity with DAO governance models and decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus.
• User-Centric Approach: A user-focused mindset with the ability to empathize with and understand the needs of the community, translating feedback into actionable product improvements.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills to rally the team around the product vision and align stakeholders towards shared goals.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, using metrics to drive decision-making, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, adapting to the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
