Vice President of Engineering – Web3 Wallet

We are seeking an experienced VP of Engineering to join a well-funded start-up specializing in development of innovative blockchain solutions and Web3 applications. The company’s wev3 wallet solution enables users to make fast, seamless transactions using traditional payment methods like debit and credit cards.

As the VP of Engineering, you will be at the forefront of driving the technical direction of the company, leading a high-performing engineering team, and ensuring alignment between technology and business goals. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and hands-on involvement, all within a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.

Your Role as VP of Engineering:

• Define and execute strategic technical roadmaps that directly support the company’s long-term business goals.
• Oversee the platform’s architecture to ensure scalability, security, and continuous innovation.
• Lead the recruitment, development, and mentorship of a top-tier engineering team.
• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, excellence, and inclusivity across the engineering organization.
• Drive the integration of cutting-edge blockchain technologies, including smart contracts and distributed systems.

Qualifications for the VP of Engineering Role:

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in fast-paced start-up environments.
• Strong technical expertise in blockchain, with a deep understanding of Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana, and proficiency in Solidity and Rust for smart contract development.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure with a focus on security and best practices.
• A collaborative, results-oriented mindset, coupled with a passion for driving innovation within the blockchain and Web3 space.
