About this team

We're looking for an accomplished Senior QA Engineer who specializes in Web3 technologies to join our dynamic team. Your role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive quality assurance strategies for our Web3 applications. By closely collaborating with development and product teams, you will play a vital part in delivering robust and seamless user experiences.


The Senior QA Engineer will help build:

  • QA Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute effective QA strategies, meticulously planning test cases for Web3 applications. Define testing scopes, objectives, and criteria for each project.
  • Web3 Application Testing: Conduct thorough functional, integration, and regression testing of Web3 applications, with a focus on blockchain interactions, smart contracts, and decentralized protocols.
  • Automation Frameworks: Create, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks tailored for Web3 applications. Utilize specialized tools and frameworks such as Truffle or Hardhat for automated testing of blockchain-related functionalities.
  • Smart Contract Testing: Collaborate with blockchain developers to validate and verify smart contracts. Employ rigorous testing methodologies to ensure the security, functionality, and compliance of smart contracts.
  • Decentralized Protocols: Validate the seamless interaction and integration of Web3 applications with diverse decentralized protocols like IPFS, Ethereum, and others.
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize defects using advanced bug tracking systems. Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports to developers and stakeholders.
  • Test Environment Management: Create and manage test environments, including setting up blockchain testnets and other components essential to the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster close collaboration with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to align testing objectives, timelines, and desired outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process enhancements, the evolution of QA best practices, and the integration of emerging tools and technologies within the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.

Your craft

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on QA Engineering experience, with an emphasis on Web3 technologies.
  • Proficient in testing Web3 applications, including comprehensive knowledge of blockchain interactions and smart contracts, and hands-on experience with web3 tools, frameworks and libraries
  • Strong grasp of blockchain networks, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
  • Proven expertise in designing and maintaining automated test scripts tailored for Web3 applications.
  • Familiarity with leading test automation tools like Truffle, Hardhat, or equivalent.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges, combined with exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy and completeness of testing efforts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering seamless teamwork with cross-functional units.
  • Genuine passion for staying at the forefront of the latest Web3 advancements, trends, and breakthroughs.
