The team is building the most robust wallet-as-a-service infrastructure within the Web3 ecosystem. Their approach centers around an API-centric wallet management system, making it the perfect choice for applications and organizations aiming to offer secure access to multiple blockchains through a seamless integration.


Their suite of APIs and SDKs has been meticulously crafted to empower wallet programmability and streamline implementations, facilitating rapid deployment, intelligent automation sequences, and the establishment of detailed permission sets and policies through secure authentication credentials.



Principal Platform Engineer role context:


A Principal Platform Engineer for the team must posses a deep knowledge of both cloud and hardware systems, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to excel under high-pressure scenarios within the infrastructure team.

In the role of Principal Platform Engineer, you will be tasked with the design, construction, and upkeep of our platform infrastructure, following the principles of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of the systems, thereby enabling to provide a stable and robust product for the demanding landscape of Web3 applications.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum, ranging from the integration of corporate systems and the seamless flow of data within the organization, to the management and expansion of virtual machines, optimization and stability enhancement of our cloud infrastructure through capacity planning and resource management, as well as adept troubleshooting of network, storage, and computer issues across our data centers. Additionally, you will be involved in provisioning client environments and various other essential tasks.


Responsibilities for the Principal Platform Engineer:

Your day-to-day tasks will involve:


  • Contribute to Agile Scrum processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining production quality.
  • Lead the development of innovative solutions to address technical infrastructure challenges.
  • Manage platform infrastructure to ensure scalability, high availability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the adoption of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Establish and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and create infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform.
  • Configure secure enclaves (such as Nitro, AMD, Thales, etc.) to enhance overall security.
  • Implement monitoring solutions using Datadog to enhance performance and visibility.
  • Optimize Node.js applications to boost performance.
  • Architect cloud infrastructure across various providers (AWS, Google, Azure, etc.).
  • Manage containerization with a strong focus on security and scalability.
  • Integrate best-practice information security processes (e.g., SOC, ISO, etc.).
  • Ensure network uptime and cybersecurity protection.
  • Implement operational metric collection and visualization.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement within the platform.


Preferred experience for the Principal Platform Engineer:


  • A track record of over 6 years in Infrastructure, DevOps, and/or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Node.js, and/or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with secure enclave technologies (e.g., Nitro Enclaves, AMD SEV).
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar, knowledge of the 12-Factor methodology, and experience with microservices.
  • Competence in database administration, scaling, and tuning for both relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in utilizing monitoring tools like Datadog or equivalent solutions for comprehensive system monitoring.
  • Skills in optimizing cloud infrastructure, particularly on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Adept at containerization with Docker and expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters.
  • A deep understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
  • Proven experience in testing and implementing secure and resilient systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to champion innovative ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to think clearly under high-pressure situations.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset combined with a professional demeanor.

  • [Bonus] In-depth knowledge of crypto wallets and their diverse use cases.
