Marketing Lead – Web3 Gaming DAO


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Lead to join a dynamic and innovative web3 gaming company. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to drive awareness and engagement for a video game. Your role involves crafting compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences, coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, influencers, as well as organizing events and promotions to maximize player acquisition and retention. As a Marketing Lead your responsibilities include:

  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives for the game release. Define target audience segments, positioning, messaging, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, influencer partnerships, events, and other relevant platforms. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity across all marketing channels. Ensure consistency in messaging, visual assets, and brand voice to strengthen brand recognition and loyalty.
  • Product Launches: Lead the marketing efforts for product launches, including pre-launch teasers, trailers, gameplay reveals, and post-launch support. Collaborate with product development teams to understand key selling points and unique features to highlight in marketing materials.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a strong relationship with the gaming community through social media engagement, forums, live streams, and other community platforms. Develop initiatives to grow and nurture the community, encourage user-generated content, and address player feedback and concerns.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI across various marketing channels. Monitor campaign performance and adjust spending as needed to optimize results and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of marketers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them excel in their roles. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on creativity, excellence, and continuous improvement.

As a Marketing Lead you should bring:

  • Proven experience in marketing roles within the video game industry, with a successful track record of launching and promoting games across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and emerging trends in the gaming industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and project management software.
