Primary Responsibilities for Business Development Manager:
- Spearhead outreach initiatives targeting potential integration partners, ensuring the Lending Protocol's capabilities and benefits are effectively communicated.
- Engage with crypto natives; educate them about our client's platform, emphasizing how it revolutionizes borrowing and lending in the DeFi space.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with entities deeply ingrained in DeFi, including native funds, institutions, or family offices seeking DeFi investment opportunities.
- Represent the Lending Protocol across various platforms, including interviews and Spaces on X, serving as a prominent advocate and voice for the protocol.
- Design, implement, and manage a CRM system (at a minimum, ensuring meticulous spreadsheet tracking) to support TVL growth and address user needs or feature requests effectively.
Required Qualifications for the Business Development Manager:
- A deep and comprehensive involvement of approximately four years or more in DeFi or related crypto products, with a proven track record of success.
- A well-established network within the DeFi ecosystem or the experimental fringe of traditional finance (Tradfi), showcasing an ability to navigate and connect within these sectors.
- Demonstrates a high-energy, proactive attitude with an unwavering determination to achieve goals.
- Possesses a strong sense of autonomy; capable of independently managing workflows and schedules.
- A fervent advocate for open finance and cypherpunk principles, passionate about the transformative potential of decentralized finance.
- Exhibits a creative and relentless approach to problem-solving, willing to explore all avenues to drive the protocol's success.
