Head of Product - Digital Asset Infrastructure - Capital Markets

We are seeking a Head of Product to own and scale a digital asset and capital markets product suite across tokenisation, trading, custody and infrastructure. This role defines the product vision and roadmap end‑to‑end, working closely with founders, engineering, sales, and compliance to build institutional‑grade, regulation‑aligned products for exchanges, brokers, banks and other capital markets participants.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for a multi‑asset trading, tokenisation and digital asset infrastructure platform.

• Translate company objectives into clear product goals, success metrics and delivery plans across multiple product lines (exchange, tokenisation, custody, connectivity, workflows).

• Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and problem definition through to requirements, delivery, launch, and iteration.

• Run structured discovery with institutional clients (exchanges, brokers, banks, asset managers, marketplaces) to deeply understand use‑cases, workflows and pain points.

• Work closely with founders and commercial teams to identify new market opportunities in digital assets, tokenised securities and real‑world assets.

• Partner with engineering, architecture and design to deliver secure, scalable, API‑first products that meet performance, latency and uptime requirements.

• Ensure product requirements reflect regulatory, compliance and risk constraints across multiple jurisdictions.

• Build strong feedback loops with implementation, customer success and support to drive continuous improvement and retention.

• Prioritise effectively across competing initiatives using clear frameworks grounded in impact, risk and effort.

• Own pricing, packaging and go‑to‑market narratives for new products and features in collaboration with sales and marketing.

• Establish and track product performance, usage and commercial KPIs; drive data‑driven decisions and experiment frameworks.

• Develop and maintain clear documentation, release notes and internal enablement materials.

• Build, lead and mentor a small but high‑performing product team as the company scales.

Experience and qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior/lead role within fintech, capital markets, digital assets or B2B SaaS infrastructure.

• Hands‑on experience building products for institutional users such as exchanges, brokers, banks, trading firms or asset managers.

• Strong familiarity with trading workflows (order routing, matching, RFQ, post‑trade, settlement, reconciliation) and/or tokenisation, custody and digital asset infrastructure.

• Proven track record of taking complex, multi‑stakeholder products from concept to launch and scale.

• Experience working in regulated environments and with compliance, legal and risk teams.

• Comfortable working with API‑first platforms, integrations and enterprise implementation projects.

• Ability to interpret and use data (product analytics, funnels, cohort analysis, revenue metrics) to inform decisions.

• Prior experience in a fast‑growing startup or scale‑up environment.

• Comfortable engaging with technical concepts such as system architecture, APIs, security and data models.

• Highly organised, outcome‑oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.

• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence without formal authority.

• Bias for action, ownership and accountability in an evolving, high‑ambiguity environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital asset exchanges, tokenisation platforms, or custody solutions.

• Background in capital markets infrastructure, market venues or post‑trade systems.

• Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.

• Technical background (e.g. computer science, engineering) or prior hands‑on work with APIs.
