Head of Marketing & Communications
As the Head of Marketing and Communications, your role involves shaping our positioning and go-to-market strategy. You will play a pivotal role in crafting and disseminating content for the foundation, spearheading successful marketing campaigns, driving user acquisition, and managing relationships with external agencies. Collaborating closely with our board, you will have a hands-on impact on building and enhancing the marketing and communications function.
Your accountability will span:
- Creation and definition of the marketing function for the foundation.
- Development of the marketing strategy for the foundation.
- Definition of the brand for the foundation and its web3 protocols.
- Corporate Communications, coordinating various initiatives within the team.
- Formulating content strategies that support the overarching digital marketing strategy.
- Creation and distribution of impactful content aligned with key business goals.
- Collaboration with third-party agencies across PR, Social Media, and Research.
- Contribution to impactful thought leadership and media strategies across various channels.
Requirements & Outcomes
We seek an individual with:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing & communications within fast-paced environments (preferably in technology/web3-first companies).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating content for B2C or B2B marketing campaigns, including blogs, social media content, and website copy.
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
- A performance-oriented, impact-driven, resilient, precise, and reliable approach.
- Team player qualities with the ability to work both independently and strategically in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing marketing KPIs, tracking campaign success, and future planning.
- A degree in a marketing or communication-focused field.
Nice to Haves:
- Demonstrated success in marketing campaigns for token/web3 launches.
- Proven success in organizing in-person and digital events-based marketing activations.
To apply, you must be a current resident of the Cayman Islands or willing to relocate there, as the foundation's HQ is based in this location. The company operates on a remote-first model, providing flexibility to work from other global locations.
This role will report directly to the board of directors of the foundation.
