Head of Digital Asset Management (Crypto Fund Platform)

Location: UAE, UK OR US

A leading institutional digital asset platform is seeking a senior leader to take ownership of its asset management business at a pivotal stage of evolution.

The platform currently manages a suite of crypto-native investment products, including yield-focused strategies across Bitcoin and broader digital assets. Following a period of market-driven AUM contraction, the business is undergoing a strategic reset — with a focus on refining product-market fit, enhancing yield generation, and defining the next phase of growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role with full ownership of the asset management product suite and a mandate to shape both strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end asset management platform, including existing funds and new strategy development  

- Define and execute the product roadmap across yield-generating strategies (e.g. DeFi, basis/carry, options overlays, structured products)  

- Lead strategic decision-making on fund structure, product positioning, and future launches  

- Oversee implementation of new yield strategies, working closely with trading and risk teams  

- Partner with internal trading desks on product design and risk frameworks  

- Manage and deepen relationships with crypto-native LPs, foundations, and institutional allocators  

- Contribute to strategic initiatives including potential M&A or inorganic AUM growth  

Candidate Profile

- Senior experience within digital asset fund management, either crypto-native or from a traditional firm with a credible digital asset platform  

- Strong product understanding across crypto yield strategies (staking, DeFi, basis, derivatives overlays)  

- Track record of managing or contributing to funds at meaningful scale (c. $200M+ AUM)  

- Commercial mindset with the ability to contribute to broader business strategy and growth decisions  

- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, build-phase environment within an institutional framework  

- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate (on-site presence required)

This is not a pure portfolio management role. The mandate is strategic and product-led, requiring end-to-end ownership of the asset management business and its future direction.
