Overview

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Analyst to drive strategic token pair recommendations for integration into our decentralized exchange (DEX). The role requires a combination of technical expertise in blockchain ecosystems and strong analytical capabilities to evaluate tokenomics, security, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will play a key role in enhancing liquidity, user engagement, and platform growth while navigating Hong Kong’s regulatory framework for virtual assets.

Responsibilities

Token Pair Research

• Assess blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos) to identify high-potential token pairs.
• Analyze trading volume, liquidity depth, and market demand using tools like Dune Analytics, DeFiLlama, and Nansen.
• Evaluate tokens based on supply dynamics, governance structures, and ecosystem utilities.

Due Diligence

• Audit smart contracts to identify security risks, centralization concerns, and adherence to industry standards.
• Conduct background research on project teams, partnerships, and community credibility.

Market & Regulatory Monitoring

• Track trends in DeFi, Layer 2 solutions, and emerging ecosystems (e.g., meme coins, NFTs) to prioritize impactful token integrations.
• Stay updated on regulatory guidelines from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) while monitoring global compliance shifts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with listings teams to streamline the onboarding of new token pairs.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate regulatory and reputational risks.
• Provide data-driven insights to marketing teams to promote new token pairs effectively.

Reporting and Presentation

• Produce comprehensive reports detailing token viability, associated risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Present findings and actionable strategies to senior leadership for decision-making.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 2–4 years of experience in blockchain analysis, ideally within DEXs, exchanges, or DeFi protocols.
• Advanced expertise in:
  • Blockchain analytical tools (e.g., Etherscan, The Graph).
  • DeFi mechanisms such as AMMs, lending protocols, and derivative platforms.
  • Programming languages: Python, SQL, Solidity.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong’s virtual asset regulatory guidelines.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with smart contract auditing or blockchain forensics investigations.
• An established network in crypto communities and developer ecosystems.
• Published work or research on tokenomics, blockchain trends, or market dynamics.
