Sr Blockchain/Backend Engineer (DeFi)

Sr Backend / Blockchain Engineer role:

About the Backend Blockchain Role:

As a key contributor to our clients organization, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundational elements of the entire operation through your technical expertise. Utilizing a pragmatic and analytical approach, you will be responsible for defining, scoping, and implementing new features while upholding the standards of high-quality code.

Responsibilities:

- Develop backend services that seamlessly interact with contracts across multiple chains.

- Collaborate closely with our Smart Contracts team to enhance existing contracts and optimize their utilization.

- Engage with the internal team to facilitate the deployment of backend services.

- Conduct research and integrate decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols into our systems.

- Present innovative ideas for improving services, processes, and products.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience in backend engineering.

- Proficiency in Node.js and Typescript.

- Understanding of Ethereum, its JSON RPC, and EVM.

- Prioritize security in the development process.

- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Nice to Have:

- Awareness of the broader impact of your code on both the product and users.

- Capability to write smart contracts in Solidity.

- Experience and/or interest in Rust.
