Business Development Manager - Web3 MarTech SaaS

Our client specialize in crafting bespoke Web3 solutions, products, and dApps, leveraging expertise in Blockchain, NFTs, DeFi, DAOs, and more. We built our own product, a marketing platform designed to empower brands to understand, grow, and connect with their Web3 community. Offering robust web3 CRM, token creation, community analytics, and management tools, it facilitates user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
This product provides insights into community activity and interactions, enabling brands to craft impactful campaigns and initiatives across multiple touchpoints. Whether acquiring new members or enhancing the experience for current users, it equips brands with the tools to prioritize their community and thrive in Web3.
We're in search of an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in business expansion for our SaaS Web3 MarTech platform. Collaborating closely with our leadership team, you'll be instrumental in securing new business, managing client accounts, and fostering strategic partnerships. Your primary focus will be on establishing a robust pipeline of opportunities and nurturing strong relationships with users of our platform.
Your role will be pivotal in gearing up for the soft launch of our platform in June 2024, as you collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to integrate customer insights into our strategy for the hard launch in January 2025.
This position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in SaaS technology sales to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing startup within the emerging Web3 MarTech industry.
Responsibilities for the Web3 Business Development Manager:
- Drive the development of new commercial opportunities and strategies for our Web3 product through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities for our Web3 product.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with platform users, serving as the primary point of contact for upselling and bespoke requirements.
- Identify trends and customer needs, managing your own sales pipeline to meet targets.
- Lead the creation and delivery of presentations, proposals, and quotes to nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
- Represent our platform at physical expos, meetups, and digital events to boost visibility.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pinpointing areas for enhancement.
- Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Skills & Experience we need for the Web3 Business Development Manager:
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a Web3 technology role.
- Profound understanding of the Web3 industry and technology, with a thirst for deepening knowledge.
- Familiarity with marketing and marketing technology (MarTech) is advantageous.
- Proven experience in sales best practices, adept at managing the sales process end-to-end.
- Experience in product sales is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
