As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of their blockchain systems, decentralized applications, and related technologies. You will work closely with their development and infrastructure teams to design and implement robust security measures, conduct security assessments, and respond to emerging threats in the crypto and blockchain domains.

As Senior Security Engineer you will be responsible for:

·      Security Architecture: Design and implement security architectures for blockchain-based systems, decentralized applications (dApps), and crypto wallets. Ensure that all systems adhere to industry best practices for security.

·      Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks. Collaborate with development teams to address security findings.

·      Incident Response: Develop and manage incident response plans for security breaches or vulnerabilities. Lead investigations and coordinate response efforts to minimize impact and ensure timely resolution.

·      Risk Management: Analyze security risks and implement mitigation strategies. Provide recommendations for improving security posture and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

·      Security Best Practices: Promote and enforce security best practices across the organization. Develop and deliver training and awareness programs for technical and non-technical staff.

·      Blockchain Security: Focus on the unique security challenges of blockchain technology, including smart contracts, decentralized systems, and wallet security. Ensure the integrity and security of blockchain transactions and data.

·      Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure engineers, and product managers, to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.

·      Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies in the blockchain and crypto space. Continuously seek out new methods and tools to enhance security measures.

As Senior Security Engineer you should bring:

·      Experience: 5-10 years of experience in systems and network cybersecurity, with a strong background in securing complex systems and networks.

·      Blockchain Security: 3+ years of direct experience in security for crypto, blockchain, web3 technologies, wallets, and decentralized applications. Proven expertise in addressing the security challenges specific to these areas.

·      Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools, techniques, and methodologies. Experience with security assessment tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and incident response frameworks.

·      Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying potential security issues and implementing effective solutions.

·      Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate security concepts and technical details to diverse audiences.

·      Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, providing security guidance and support to team members across different functions.

Nice to Have:

·      Experience with blockchain-specific security tools and platforms.

·      Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
