Quantitative Researcher – High-Frequency Trading (HFT) & Market Making in Crypto

We are seeking an exceptional Quantitative Researcher with a focus on High-Frequency Trading (HFT) and Market Making in the crypto space. If you are passionate about markets, crypto, and possess a strong quantitative background, this opportunity is for you.

Role Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, back-test, and implement both short and long-term quantitative trading signals within the crypto market.
• Build robust portfolios leveraging multiple signals to maximize returns.
• Utilize statistical methods to identify new trading opportunities within large datasets.
• Enhance our state-of-the-art quantitative pipeline for fast strategy test iteration and actionable insights.
• Present models and findings, organizing results coherently for the team.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability and optimal performance of trading strategies.
• Implement and manage the execution of trading strategies, contributing to the advancement of our trading system.

Qualifications:

• 4-12 years of experience in quantitative research, particularly within Quant roles.
• A profound passion for trading, markets, and specifically, the crypto ecosystem.
• An advanced degree (PhD or MSc) from a top-tier university in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Demonstrated experience in developing statistical models suited for a trading environment.
• Strong grasp of market-making principles and optimization theory.
• Proficiency in Python, Git, object-oriented programming, and SQL.
• Proven track record in monitoring and troubleshooting trading systems and strategies.
