Lead AI/ML Architect (LLMs, GenAI, MLOps) | Remote, Asia time zones
If you enjoy turning research into real products and you like owning the path from idea to production, this will probably feel like your kind of work. We’re partnering with a fast-growing innovation collective building advanced AI systems across fintech, real estate, and microfinance. AI meets Web3 and enterprise platforms. That mix can be messy. It’s also where a good architect shines.
Here’s the thing. This isn’t a pure research seat or a pure platform role. It’s both. You’ll prototype, test, and ship. You’ll set standards, then bend them when the data says so. I’ve noticed the best people in roles like this care about accuracy, latency, and cost in equal measure. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
What you’ll do - Lead AI/ML Architect:
- Design and prototype AI and ML solutions that support next‑gen products, with a focus on LLMs, RAG, and real-time use cases.
- Build and maintain training and inference pipelines, experiment frameworks, and cloud deployment on AWS or GCP.
- Integrate models into production applications with product, data, and engineering teams.
- Run practical research across LLMs, retrieval, RL, and emerging methods. Turn findings into shipped improvements.
- Lead data strategy and governance with strong privacy and security practices.
- Benchmark models for quality, latency, and total cost. Push fast from concept to launch, then iterate.
What you bring
- 5+ years in AI or ML R&D with models running in production. I care less about titles and more about shipped systems.
- Deep knowledge of modern architectures. Think transformers, LLMs, prompt and inference tuning, and evaluation.
- Strong Python. PyTorch or TensorFlow. Hands-on with Hugging Face tooling.
- Solid MLOps. CI/CD, containerization, reproducible experiments, and data pipelines.
- Cloud experience on AWS or GCP. Bonus if you speak Kubernetes, Docker, and model serving.
- Nice to have. Web3 data, smart contracts, vector search, multi‑modal ML, or AR/VR interfaces.
- Extra points for publications or open-source work. I like seeing how you think in public.
Why this could be for you
- Foundational remit across multiple AI and blockchain ventures. You’ll set patterns others use.
- Remote first across GMT+5 to GMT+9 with an anchor in Singapore. Async habits matter here.
- Competitive package with potential for equity or profit share.
- High ownership and room to experiment. What strikes me most about this group is the bias to ship, learn, and improve.
A few signals you might be the one
- You’ve shipped an LLM feature and had to tame latency or cost. You didn’t just tweak prompts. You rethought the approach.
- You enjoy messy data, evolving requirements, and clear outcomes.
- You write clear docs and care about tests. Future you will thank you.
Tech you’ll likely touch
Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain or equivalent, vector databases, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or GCP, CI/CD, feature stores, Airflow, Kafka or event streams.
Location and hours
- Remote across Asia time zones. GMT+5 to GMT+9 preferred.
- Occasional travel to Singapore.
