Graphic DesignerOpportunity Briefing Pack The Virtual Society Foundation&#39;s (the “Foundation”) purpose is to foster a new digital economy focused around the Metaverse.   The “metaverse” is best defined as a network of meaningful worlds, objects, identities and experiences that build on each other and the real world in ways that create economic value or provide fulfilling experiences. This network will unleash innovative businesses offering sophisticated digital assets, creating new jobs and expanding human opportunity.  However, all this potential remains largely unrealized due to technical, experiential, and accessibility challenges. In addition, the absence of a functioning technological and economic system that allows builders and creators to support one another&#39;s work means we are stuck with either very open and decentralized but non-functional metaverse frameworks that major companies can’t use or popular but fundamentally closed UGC gaming platforms with limited freedom to build major businesses on top of them. A fully realized practical metaverse ecosystem is a network of many actors, all with their own needs and interests, all of whom have to be able to credibly build real businesses. <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Graphic Designer (Part-time)</h3><h3 style="text-align: justify;">Your Mission </h3>As a Graphic Designer, your role is crucial in creating visually compelling content that enhances our project&#39;s brand and engages our online community. You will be responsible for designing social media posts, web pages, posters, and presentation slides/decks, ensuring that all visual content aligns with our brand’s identity and goals.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develop and design a variety of visual content for social media platforms, including but not limited to X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and other relevant channels.</li><li>Create visually appealing web pages that enhance user experience and engagement.</li><li>Design posters, banners, and other promotional materials for digital and print use.</li><li>Develop presentation slides and decks that effectively communicate key messages and data.</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all designs align with branding guidelines and campaign objectives.</li><li>Utilize Figma to create and iterate on design projects, maintaining consistency and quality.</li><li>Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.</li><li>Stay updated with design trends, tools, and industry developments.</li><li>Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.</li><li>Provide feedback and suggestions to improve overall visual content strategy.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 2 years professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing social media posts, web pages, posters, and presentation slides.</li><li>Proficient in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).</li><li>Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics and details.</li><li>Strong understanding of branding and visual communication.</li><li>Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, visually engaging content.</li><li>Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Excellent collaboration and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.</li><li>Passion for the Metaverse industry and web3.</li></ul> <h3 style="text-align: justify;">Logistics </h3>Part Time : 20hours per week.Salary Range: $30,000 - $40,000 + Token Role Location The company itself is a remote-first business, so you will have the flexibility to work in other locations throughout the globe.Reporting Lines This role will report directly to the CMO.
